I’ve always been curious. ‘Why?’ can reveal interesting things – especially if you keep asking!
My interest in technology began 20 years ago when I started out exploring ways to extend the life of a company’s CD-Rom line-up. I’ve been involved in human computer interaction in some way-shape-or-form since then.
I began producing websites, managing projects and conducting user and product research. I’ve been lucky enough to have worked in London and Sydney on projects across many interactive platforms: rich internet apps; responsive sites for web, tablet and mobile; online, mobile and handheld console games; interactive TV and DVD. In that time User Experience Design has become a widely recognised profession and the need to keep the user at front of mind has become the accepted truth.
I want to make the user experience as good as it can be. It’s been an interesting ride so far and I’m looking forward to the future with the inevitable changes that technology will bring.
